A self-professed, passionate guardian of Independent cinema in the country, Kajaria is a noted and National award winning film producer.
Having produced numerous feature films including acclaimed films such as Fandry (2014), Siddhant (2015) and Presented Anumati (2013) which won him the distinguished National Film Awards conferred by the Government of India two years consecutively and his films having travelled to numerous international film festivals.
An avid film lover, he was also selected for the Trans Atlantic Partners program, The Rotterdam Producers Lab and The Producers Network at Cannes.
He turned Director with his debut short, Durga, which bagged him the special mention Dada Saheb Phalke award and has travelled to over 20 film festivals across the globe.
With a vast experience in the Media entertainment sector, Goswami is a director and festival programmer.
He has serves as a programmer and consultant for a wide range of film festivals including Osian's CineFan, International Film Festival of Kerala, Bristol India Film Festival, Marmetraggio Film Festival,, Festival du Film d'Asie du SudTransgressif, All Lights film festival, among numerous others.
Additionally Goswami has also been an advisor to the Childrens film society of India and the Ahwaan Foundation's film festival.
Having commenced his career as a film critic and entertainment journalist, Ram has had wide exposure in the filmed entertainment arena. A former consultant to the Mumbai Film Festival, he worked closely with the former festival director Mr.Narayanan in the Indian and international programming of the festival. He also formerly worked with noted production house Sikhya Entertainment led by GuneetMonga on films such as The Lunchbox, Monsoon Shootout, Vakratunda Mahakaaya among others.
Independently, Ram has also handled festival strategies on numerous films and has assisted in international film sales on behalf of independent producers and corporates.
